How To: Make A 'Studio'

Hello Simmers! Today I'm going to be showing you a How To post. How To: Make A 'Studio' on the Sims 3! I have used these 'Studios' a many times before, and they are a great place to play around, and have a shot at taking photographs of your Sims! I began my photography in the 'Studio', and I love being able to change the lighting, backgrounds and props, just like a real model shoot! So, if you would like to try your hand at model-type photography, then follow these next few, simple instructions, and you will be well on your way to taking photographs using The Sims 3! Enjoy!

1. Find an empty community lot. Make sure it is set to 'Visitors Allowed'.

2. Enter build/buy mode for the empty lot. Build a room.

3. Now using Flat Wall in the white colour, paint the entire room walls that colour.

4. Lay Simple Flooring in white colour all over the floor. You now have a white, empty room.

5. Add a door, of course.

6. Now place any particular lights in a corner of the room, making them evenly spaced so the lighting is even.
You may like to do the same to another corner, so you can have a few different settings in your studio.

7. You are now pretty much complete! Go ahead and add any decorations, props, chairs, whatever you like to create your very own model shoot. I've added a cow-hide chair to use for a later shoot. All you have to do is get your sim/s to visit the community lot, get them to walk/stand in the prefect place for your shoot, and snap, snap, snap away! Enjoy playing around with your 'studio'!
Here is my finished studio!
